The Messier and Caldwell lists contain the name,
magnitude, size and distance (Messier only) of the
objects. The double star list contains the
magnitude of the components and their separation.
More information about the Caldwell catalog can
be found at

To make use of these lists of objects,
please do the following:

Either install the file UserObjsDB.pdb which contains
all the objects (and delete those you don't need) or
install individual lists via the Memo as described below.
***Warning: If you already have entered personal objects,
installing the file UserObjsDB.pdb will delete them.
Make sure you export them to the Memo beforehand so you
can reimport them again afterwards. (Use the menu item
"Export". This will create a Memo containing all the
objects. You can reimport this list with the menu
item "Import".)

Installation of individual lists via the Memo:
- Start your Palm Desktop application on the Mac or the PC
- Select "Memo"
- Import the desired lists into the Memo (Use
the menu item "File/Import...", then in the opening
window select the file format "Text (*.txt)")
- The lists should now appear as new memo entries
- Make a HotSync. This transfers the list into the Memo of the Palm
- Start Planetarium on the Palm
- Go to the objects list (Menu item "Objects")
- Create a new category for the objects (choose
"Edit categories..." from the selector at the top right)
- Select this new category (because objects are imported
  into the currently selected category)
- Select the menu item "Import"
- A list of all memo titles should appear
- Select the memo containing the objects
- Press the import button
- The objects should now have been added to the list
