Compiling Astro Info
Astro Info is built using the gcc tool-chain, i.e. prc-tools (version 2.3), the Palm OS SDK (version 5r4, aka. Garnet OS 68K API SDK Fall 2004 Update), the Palm resource compiler pilrc (version 3.2), a small tool called par, the Sun Java SDK, the image converter from ImageMagick, and various common unix tools, e.g. make, zip, and perl. For building the documentation, you need htp.
The current version of the Garnet OS SDK (5r4) is broken. This message explains how to fix it.
After you have installed these tools, buiding is done using
make
in the main directory of the astro info sources.

If you want to develop astro info or try the absolutely latest version, you can download it from the subversion repository.
